CAWDER GOLF CLUB – DRESS CODE

CLUBHOUSE

Smart/Casual Clothing (see below for description) will be permissible in the Clubhouse throughout the year, including Club Social Functions.

Official Club Functions, designated by the Committee will require tailored jacket, collar and tie, or jacket only as stipulated

Jacket, collar and tie, are required for all Saturday Evening A La Carte Dinners throughout the year.


ACCEPTABLE MODES OF CASUAL CLOTHING

Collared shirt, polo neck and sweaters. At all times within the Clubhouse, gentlemens’ shirts must be tucked inside their trousers.

UNACCEPTABLE MODES OF DRESS

Denim Jeans or other forms of denim, track/shell suits, T-shirts, leggings, team colours, training shoes and tailored shorts. Caps must not be worn.

The wearing of waterproof tops/anoraks will not be permitted

The above rules will not apply to children of 5 years of age or under, however, they will not be permitted to wear caps in the Clubhouse.

EXEMPTIONS FOR JUNIORS

Smart training shoes and tailored shorts may be worn.


COURSE

Smart/Casual Clothing (see below for description) will be permissible on the Courses.


ACCEPTABLE MODES OF CASUAL CLOTHING

Collared sports shirts, polo neck shirts, mock turtleneck shirts manufactured by a recognised golfwear company (as worn by the likes of David Duval and Tiger Woods) sweaters and tailored shorts. Proper golf shoes must be worn at all times.

UNACCEPTABLE MODES OF CASUAL CLOTHING

Denim Jeans or other forms of denim wear, track/shell suits,
T-shirts, leggings, team colours and training shoes.

In addition, all golf shirts must be tucked into trousers. Trousers must not be tucked into socks unless designed for that purpose or unless when under waterproofs. Caps must also be worn in a proper manner.
